Let Lincoln Vote is a ballot initiative to update Title II of the Lincoln City Code.
WE DID IT! WE TURNED IN OVER 11,000 VOTER SIGNATURES on Aug. 8! And then the Lancaster County Election Commissioner, Dave Shively, rejected our petitions because they did not have red ink on them (state law, not city code).
Because of this we have to go out again and collect signatures on new forms.
We know Lincoln wants to include protections military/veterans, people with disabilities, BIPOC people, LGBTQ+ folx, and other marginalized groups. If you didn't get a chance to sign the petition, but want to ADD YOUR NAME, send us an email under the CONTACT tab.
Fairness Now.
